The following statements clarify ethical behavior agreed upon by all parties involved in the publication of an article in our proceedings: authors, editors, and peer-reviewers. These statements are adapted from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
ASAITE Conference implements a rigorous and ethically grounded peer review procedure to ensure the scholarly quality and integrity of its published proceedings. Each manuscript undergoes a structured review process conducted by experts selected specifically for their proficiency in the relevant subject area.
Reviewers are chosen based on their recognized expertise and their ability to provide informed, fair, and constructive feedback.
Selection is managed by ASAITE’s editorial committee and conference organizers, ensuring alignment with ethical standards established by the COPE.
Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality and treat all manuscript information as privileged. Manuscripts should not be discussed or disclosed to others without explicit permission from the editors. Additionally, to uphold confidentiality standards, reviewers are strictly prohibited from submitting manuscripts to ChatGPT or other AI-based language models, as there is no guarantee of where the data might be sent, viewed, saved, or potentially used in the future.
Reviews should be objective, constructive, and clearly articulated, providing suggestions aimed at enhancing manuscript quality.
Reviewers must follow guidance provided by editors and COPE. Publication decisions will rely on reviewers' thoroughness, accuracy, and professional judgment concerning manuscript quality and adherence to guidelines.
Reviewers are required to immediately inform editors of any conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, collaborative, or otherwise) and should withdraw from reviewing manuscripts in such cases.
Reviews must be completed promptly within the timeframe designated by the editors. If unable to complete a review within the specified period, reviewers must notify editors promptly, allowing the assignment of alternative reviewers.
The peer review involves assessing each manuscript according to these key elements:
All manuscripts that meet submission guidelines will be reviewed using a double-blind method by at least three independent reviewers.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, relevance to the conference theme, technical depth, clarity, contribution, and readability.
Manuscripts are reviewed as full papers, including Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
Acceptance, revision, or rejection decisions are based on reviewer feedback and finalized by the editor.
By strictly adhering to these guidelines, ASAITE ensures the publication of robust, credible, and valuable scholarly contributions.
